Honoring Isha Agarwal’s Life by Supporting Children and Families Facing Pediatric Cancer
Founded in November 2023 and based in New Jersey, Isha Cares Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity created in memory of Isha Agarwal. Inspired by Isha’s courage, compassion, and dream of a world free from cancer, we support children and families affected by pediatric cancer through financial assistance, wellness programs, advocacy, community engagement, and compassionate care. Through our work and partnerships, we strive to ease the burdens families face during treatment while fostering hope, resilience, and healthier futures for children.
Remembering Isha
Isha Agarwal was full of kindness, joy, and quiet strength. She was loving, playful, energetic, and deeply thoughtful, with a natural warmth that made people feel cared for. She loved learning and had a special interest in music, art, and sports. Her simplicity, politeness, and care for others left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her
In September 2021, Just before beginning 9th grade at Rutgers Prep school, Isha was diagnosed with an aggressive soft tissue cancer. Over the next year, she faced treatment at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia with courage, grace, and determination. Even in the hardest moments, she remained grateful to her doctors, nurses, teachers, friends, and family, and continued to inspire those around her with her positivity and resilience.
Isha passed away in February 2023, just months before her 16th birthday. Though her life was far too short, the love she gave and the strength she showed continue to live on in the people she touched.
Isha dreamed of a world free from cancer, where no child would have to suffer from this disease. Founded in her memory, 'Isha Cares' honors her legacy by supporting children and families facing pediatric cancer. Through financial assistance, care packages, wellness programs, community support, and advocacy, we work to ensure no family faces this journey alone. Every family supported and every life touched reflects Isha’s spirit and the values she lived by.
